Prince George County Released Inmates is a private reference, not a government office. We cannot confirm custody or release, free or transfer a person, post bond, or obtain an official record for you. Send record and status questions to the agency that created or holds the information.
Official Prince George Contacts
Prince George County does not operate a separate adult jail roster. Riverside Regional Jail is the local adult record holder for a Prince George confinement, while courts hold case orders and VADOC handles state custody and supervision. Posted hours below were researched as of August 8, 2026. Confirm hours, personnel, fees, and access rules before traveling or mailing a request.

Use for eligible state-custody notifications. A local RRJ notification requires the separate Virginia Jail VINE registration.
Choose the route by custody and record type:
- For an RRJ release or transfer entry, contact RRJ and identify the Prince George booking with name, date of birth, and approximate dates.
- For a bond, disposition, or sentence, search the relevant Prince George court and request the signed order when docket labels are unclear.
- For state custody, parole, or probation, use VADOC and the office named in the person's official release or supervision papers.
- For Crater Juvenile Detention Center, use authorized JDR, DJJ, Court Service Unit, parent, attorney, or court channels rather than an adult locator.
- For FCI Petersburg Low, its camp, or FCI Petersburg Medium, use the BOP Inmate Locator or BOP records process.
- For present immigration detention after a transfer, use ICE's locator or call the Detention Reporting and Information Line at 1-888-351-4024, posted Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Eastern, excluding holidays.
Phone staff may not disclose protected information. A focused written request can be more useful than a broad question, especially when a release occurred in the past or the person moved between custodians.
